Tarek Makki realized his passion for hair when he was seventeen-years-old. Overnight, he decided to enroll in Beauty school and begin a career in hairstyling. Hailing from Michigan and garnering a clientele as well as working on local magazine shoots, Tarek soon realized he wanted to move to the Big Apple and push himself to the limit. Since his arrival, Tarek has worked on editorial shoots for BRIDES Magazine and was a premier stylist with esteemed colleague, Carlos Vera, on print advertisements for Ciroc Vodka. He's also been a frequent backstage stylist for Victoria's Secret shoots. Tarek met Ric Pipino in October of 2009 and the two became fast friends. Tarek is well-known for his fabulous extensions. No glue, no heat, and an application under an hour's time, Tarek's extensions are quickly becoming a favorite among elite in the beauty scene, including Fabiola Beracasa and Jenne Lombardo.
